The Role

The Graphic Designer / Creative Artist will be working in our Design and Media team and will be primarily responsible for producing high quality prepress-ready graphic design for our print and web publications.

The Person

The Graphic Designer / Creative Artist will be a highly presentable individual with excellent communication skills and highly fluent in spoken and written English.

Able to readily demonstrate excellent graphic artistic capabilities, the individual must be well versed in creating innovative and commercial press-ready graphic designs using Corel Draw, Corel Paint, Adobe Indesign, Photoshop (CS2, CS3 and CS4) and other Adobe Suite products and must have been using these products consistently in the past 1 year.

Qualifications and Experience

The Habitat Nationwide Graphic Designer / Creative Artist will be ideally educated to a Degree\HND or OND level at a minimum. However more emphasis is placed on the innovative capabilities of the individual with respect to creating high quality publication-grade graphics. We expect that your portfolio should be evident of these qualities.

Any experience as a graphic designer with a publishing company, though not required, will be an added advantage. This is in addition to any working knowledge or experience of web development and programming.

Representing a company employing the convergence of Internet, Print and Digital technologies to a strategic advantage, the graphic designer / creative artist will be well versed in utilising a wide plethora of related technological tools such as MS Word, Outlook and Powerpoint, IE and Firefox web browsers amongst many others as required on the job role.

Renumeration

Up to N720,000 (gross) per annum and depending on experience.
