Staff Role and Responsibilities
The Distribution Agents will be primarily responsible for handling the monthly sales and distribution of all Habitat Nationwide titles in designated areas of Lagos and other cities as required. They will report to the Sales & Distribution Manager based at the Habitat Nationwide Limited Head Office in Lekki, Lagos.
- Developing new distribution points and leads for all publication titles
- Maintaining existing distribution points
- Taking stock and inventory of distributed titles
- Accounting for all proceeds from sales and distribution points
- Providing product information to Habitat Nationwide customers
- Receiving and processing advertising payment orders
- Collating distribution statistics on a weekly basic
- Forwarding weekly and monthly reports to the Sales & Distribution Manager
- Following up advertising enquiries from clients and advertisers
- Providing cover for other members of staff on leave as and when required
- Participating in Trade Shows, Exhibitions and Seminars when required and as part of a team representing Habitat Nationwide's vested interests
Qualifications
Remuneration
N180,000 (one hundred and eighty thousandnaira ) GROSS per annum +10% commission on any advertisment orders received.
Working hours 9am - 6pm. Must be able to work paid overtime during weekdays and weekends to meet deadlines where required.
